The Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship continues to build upon one of the best educational environments for aspiring entrepreneurs and business leaders in the country. We are proud to announce that our undergraduate certificate in entrepreneurship has become the most popular certificate on the UW-Madison campus. There are 79 certificates available for undergraduate students to choose from to increase their knowledge in a specific areas of expertise and entrepreneurship has grown to be the largest.
The certificate program in entrepreneurship was developed in 2010 to provide entrepreneurial knowledge and skills to undergraduate students who want to develop an entrepreneurial mindset. This perspective can help benefit them in careers at both large and small firms or in businesses they may launch now or in the future. The certificate is available to any undergraduate student outside of the Wisconsin School of Business who is in good academic standing.
The undergraduate certificate in entrepreneurship had over 950 students enrolled in the program. The certificate attracts students from a wide range of majors and compliments studies in their home department.
