Toni Sikes, WAVE Advisory Board Member, WSB alum, Distinguished Entrepreneur, and co-founder and CEO of CODAworx, was recently featured in the Wisconsin State Journal. CODAworx, short for Collaboration of Design + Art, is a tech platform that aims to connect artists with potential companies who want to commission public art. The company has gained significant influence in the public art world, exemplified by the success of its annual CODAawards, which attracts hundreds of entries from around the globe.
Sikes believes that as more cities recognize the value of public art in “placemaking,” the industry will continue to grow, with Madison at its center as an emerging hub for this creative and economic movement.
Congratulations, Toni for your contribution to the Madison art scene!
