About Andrea
Andrea Tillet joined the Wisconsin School of Business in June 2022 as an Assistant Professor in the Accounting and Information Systems Department.
Professor Tillet conducts financial archival research on how mandatory reporting, regulation, and enforcement affect corporate financial reporting and behavior. She is particularly interested in how accounting standards, disclosure regulation, and regulatory enforcement influence firms’ reporting choices and strategic responses to regulatory requirements. She also has topical expertise in the area of U.S. GAAP for revenue recognition and more broadly, challenges surrounding revenue reporting.
Professor Tillet earned her B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Accounting from Florida State University.
