WSB’s Jon Eckhardt Wins Entrepreneurship Publication Awards

Jon Eckhardt, the executive director of the Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship and an associate professor of management and human resources at the Wisconsin School of Business, is the recipient of two Schulze Publication Awards for his contributions in 2017 to Entrepreneur & Innovation Exchange, an online portal that offers resources for entrepreneurs and recognizes excellence in entrepreneurial best practices and thought leadership.

Eckhardt’s winning articles spotlight research on venture capitalist selection and sourcing data for new products. The Schulze Awards are a significant achievement, exhibiting quality of thought and workmanship. Eckhardt is also recognized as a Schulze Professor through the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation. Eckhardt’s research areas include firm formation, venture finance, initial public offerings, and the role of information in entrepreneurship. He holds the Robert W. Pricer Chair in Enterprise Development at WSB.
