The Student Consultants and Speakers Bureau (SCSB) committee within Student Leadership Program is hosting an Organizational Management Summit (OMS) virtually on April 1st at 6pm. I am wondering if you would be willing to put information about OMS in your weekly newsletter or emails to students to help spread the word! I would greatly appreciate your help to reach more students with this event. I have put information about the event and attached a graphic below that you are more than welcome to use! My hope is that you could include this information in Newsletters or mass emails to students within your program each week until the event on April 1st.

Statement: Organizational Management Summit (OMS) is an event for leaders of student groups across campus. This year, OMS will be held virtually via Zoom. Our Speaker, Ebone Bell, will be speaking about how to promote diversity and inclusion in student organizations without being tokenizing. There will be an activity after the speaker to help participants engage in discussion and critical thinking for how to create some actionable steps within their specific student group. If you are looking to improve diversity and inclusion within your student group this is an event for you!

Eboné is often quoted as saying, “It’s one thing to have good intentions and another to be intentional.” This keynote dives into the difference between intention and intentional, and why deciphering the two is the building block to achieving diversity.
