Amy Yates began her insurance career as a multiline claim adjuster with Nationwide Insurance Company in Chicago, Ill. After two years there, she started her consultancy career, first with Parson Group, a startup insurance consulting firm, also in Chicago, and then with Chiltington International Ltd., a reinsurance consulting firm in London, England.
Following two years of personal travel around the world, Yates returned to the United States, and in 2005 joined Willis Towers Watson in Boston, Mass., as a client manager, assistant vice president, handling property and casualty large accounts. In 2009, she was promoted to senior client manager, vice president, and four years later was promoted to client director, senior vice president. In 2016, she joined The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. as global insurance director.
Yates received her BBA in risk management and insurance from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She also has earned her chartered property casualty underwriter and associate in risk management designations, and is also a licensed property and casualty producer in Massachusetts.
She and her husband live in Marblehead, Mass.
